Tubastraea und Dendrophyllia gehören beide zur Familie Dendropyhllidae.

Tubastrea-Korallen haben keine Zooxanthellen und leben nicht vom Licht. Somit können sie an einem dunklen Standort platziert werden. Allerdings müssen Tubastreas regelmäßig gefüttert werden, dann sind sie durchaus gut haltbar.

Zudem mögen sie eine laminare, leichte Strömung die das Futter an ihnen vorbeitreibt.

Futtertip:
Wir empfehlen, aufgetautes Frostfutter wie Mysis oder auch Pelletfutter mit dem Fauna Marin ReefBuster oder einer langen Pinzette direkt auf die Polypen zu geben. Am besten früh morgens oder abends, wenn die Polypen sichtbar sind.
