Several frags of these corals are available. The corals differ only slightly in shape, but similar in size. You will receive a frag similar to the coral depicted in the photo of the same mother colony.

General information of Chalice LPS-corals:

    • Common: Chalice coral
    • Origin: Bali, Indonesia, Australia
    • Size: up to 25 cm
    • Temperature75.2 °F - 80.6 °F (24°C - 27°C)
    • Feeding: Zooxanthellen / Light, Plancton
    • Tank: >150 Liter

    Chalice corals such as Echinophyllia sp.,  Mycedium sp.,  Oxypora sp., Echinomorpha sp. and Echinopora sp.. are not difficult to maintain. They need clean water, and low light zone that is not too bright like underhands, sandbeds and such.
    Detritus tends to settle on Chalice corals so medium current is best to keep them free from detritus.
